Since 1975, BMW has shown its commitment to art and innovation by commissioning renowned artists (such as Frank Stella, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein) to create BMW Art Cars. For the past two years, the BMW Art Car World Tour has visited museums around the globe. Now the tour has arrived in New York City and is on show for a limited time at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall from March 25th through to April 6th, 2009.

In this exhibition BMW also presents “An Expression of Joy” – a collaboration by artist Robin Rhode and filmmaker Jake Scott. Using the all-new BMW Z4 Roadster as his inspiration and paintbrush, Rhode’s vision as “creative navigator” eloquently captures the joy of driving.

And if your in New York it’s free!
