"i've listened to Skream, Disrupt, Benga, Caspa, Horsepower Productions, Burial etc. They truly sound different. As they sound different hardcore, punk, noise etc between them. Dubstep bands have the same musical basis, in some way: dub sounds with 2step ryhthms. The fact is that Margins Music is also much more: ethnic, grime, world music. Of course a single word doesn't classify it, but it's surely _also_ dubstep"
Bangra, dubstep, 2step,dub Who cares what they call it, listen to it and make your own mind up, you either like it or you don't!!!!Ummmhhhh I wonder what Ouzo calls it?

Firstly, big up BLACKDOWN + DUSK, maximum each and every!
There really isn't anything to call it anymore, 'DUBSTEP' was a redundant term when the scene was labelled with this phrase in the first place as it was only called that by a journalist because of its obvious 'DUB' and '2-STEP' influences. No DJ ever called it that, no body knew what it was 7/8 years ago.
The scene has evolved so much since then, with more genres of music of music influencing it by the minute. The main influence right now is German Techno, fact. It is definitely where the most progressive producers are looking to anyway. Martyn is living proof of this.
But to answer your question, 'what does OUZO think?', I guess I think it could be called 'BANGRA-STEP'!! Nice and original innit.
P.E.A.C.E.
BRILLIANT!!!
